Wear it Wise is a Net Impact program, supported by Eileen Fisher, to raise awareness on fashion sustainability issues. This spring, Wear it Wise campaign leaders will develop engaging social media and in-person events that educate and inspire our communities.
I work in sustainability strategy, metrics, and reporting across all industries, but have a special place in my heart for sustainable textiles. My MBA consulting and capstone research has focused on shifting the fashion industry to more sustainable and circular business, and I was very excited to be selected as a ‘Wear it Wise’ campaign leader by Net Impact!
While my low-residency MBA program and much of my client work is based in New York and elsewhere, I’m really looking forward to bringing this project home to Austin, where I first began working in apparel resale and local reuse/circular economy 10 years ago.
